Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the GeoSpy PRO platform, including free-tier users, paid subscribers, enterprise clients, and API consumers. It supplements our Terms of Service and establishes ethical guidelines for the responsible use of AI-powered geolocation technology.

GeoSpy PRO is authorized for the following use cases:

• Law Enforcement Investigations: Geolocating imagery as part of authorized criminal investigations, missing persons cases, or counter-terrorism operations.
• National Security: Intelligence analysis by authorized government agencies operating within their legal mandate.
• Journalism & OSINT: Verification of imagery provenance for news reporting, fact-checking, and open-source intelligence research.
• Academic Research: Geospatial studies, urban analytics, and climate/environmental research conducted under institutional oversight.
• Corporate Security: Due diligence, fraud investigation, and asset verification by authorized security teams.
• Personal Use: Identifying the location of your own photographs for travel, photography, or personal projects.

• Stalking & Harassment: Using the platform to track, locate, or monitor any individual without their consent or lawful authorization.
• Intimate Partner Surveillance: Locating a current or former partner, family member, or acquaintance for controlling or abusive purposes.
• Doxxing: Identifying or publishing the private location, address, or personal information of any individual.
• Child Exploitation: Any use involving the location or identification of minors for harmful purposes. Such activity will be reported to NCMEC and relevant authorities.
• Terrorism & Violence: Using geolocation data to plan, coordinate, or facilitate acts of terrorism, violence, or armed conflict.
• Sanctions Evasion: Using the platform to circumvent international sanctions, export controls, or trade restrictions.
• Unauthorized Surveillance: Mass surveillance, warrantless monitoring, or any surveillance activity that lacks proper legal authorization.
• Discriminatory Profiling: Using the platform to target, profile, or discriminate against individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.

All users of GeoSpy PRO are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:

• Proportionality: Use geolocation capabilities only to the extent necessary for your legitimate purpose.
• Verification: Always independently verify AI-generated results before taking action based on geolocation predictions.
• Minimization: Collect and store only the minimum data necessary for your analysis objectives.
• Transparency: Disclose the use of AI-assisted geolocation when required by law, professional standards, or institutional policy.
• Accountability: Maintain appropriate oversight and audit trails for all intelligence activities conducted through the platform.

GeoSpy PRO employs automated and manual monitoring systems to detect potential policy violations. These include:

• Anomalous usage pattern detection (unusually high volume or suspicious query patterns).
• Content safety screening of uploaded images for prohibited material.
• Periodic review of account activity for compliance with this AUP.

We respect your privacy during monitoring. Automated systems flag anomalies; human review occurs only when there is reasonable suspicion of a policy violation.

If you become aware of any misuse of the GeoSpy PRO platform, we urge you to report it immediately. Reports can be submitted via:

• Email: abuse@geospy.ai
• In-app: Through the support center reporting mechanism.

All reports are investigated confidentially. We will not disclose the identity of reporters unless required by law.

Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

• Warning: Written notice for minor or first-time violations.
• Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for a defined period pending investigation.
• Permanent Termination: Immediate and irrevocable account closure for serious violations.
• Law Enforcement Referral: Reporting of criminal activity to appropriate authorities with full cooperation.
• Legal Action: Pursuit of civil damages for violations that cause harm to GeoSpy PRO or third parties.
